just wondering if anyone knows a good agency for extras for tv or modelling catalogues for children in scotland

Hi sorry I don't know of any, I just wanted to warn you, because I wanted to get my child into modelling when she was a baby, and they all ask for money upfront, and are a big con, obviously there are reputable companies out there, but I don't think they would ask for money.

If you look in the Glasgow and West Of Scotland Yellow pages or online at www.yell.co.uk under Theatrical Agents/modelling agencies you should find the reputable ones. The problem is that most of the big ones are in London.

Ninknon.. has warned you about the disreputable ones but the established ones are genuine and will work hard to help you. Not every agency is out to con you.
