Hey there, I'm living in the EU and I was thinking that it would be great to do some volunteering work in another county like France or Italy. Do you know where should I start? I'm 17.

  1. There aren't residential volunteering programs in the EU that provide room and board for free for people from other countries; there are some programs where EU residents (or others) can volunteer in another country within the EU, but you have to pay a fee for the experience.

Neither France nor Italy has the culture of volunteering that, say, Germany or the UK have, so it can be very hard to find volunteering opportunities there in the way that we think of them elsewhere. But again, you can find them -- if you are willing to pay.

These web sites all list fee-based volunteering in Italy -- and, I would guess, would also list them for France elsewhere on their sites:

    http://www.transitionsabroad.com/listing...

    http://www.cadip.org/volunteer-in-italy....

  2. well if you havn't done volunteering work b4 then you should start volunteering at a nursing home or at the spca or there could be places in france to help the homeless soup kitchen or different organizations that give basic things like tooth brushes, shampoo, and things like that and you help by either giving thing like that to the charities or you could go out and actually give  people these things that other people gave to the organization... im 17 and i have been doing all of this since i was like 9

  3. Look on Google, there is a volunteering website for the Uk.
