  1. Yes. They keep a list or doctors who accept their payments. Call and ask.


  2. Yeah, they do. Just need to call around.

  3. Medicaid benefits vary widely from state to state.  Many states have programs that cover general eye examinations, however I doubt that the Social Services Office will assist you in finding a doctor that accepts Medicaid.  You'll have to let your "fingers do the walking through the Yellow Pages" and call different doctors.

  4. If you are an adult Medcaid DOES NOT pay for an optometrist.
