Do you know anything about pet rats ? (if so please read on i need your help!)?

Question

I just got these two pet rats given off my friends cousin

they have not been looked after at all

i really want them to live a long time and start feeling better

one of them has snapped top teeth (i don't know if this happens)

they absolutely stink (is there anything i can clean them with ?)

I just want to know how to make them happy and healthy because they are really friendly and i love animals

any advice at all please

they have a clean cage , water food etc ...

go to your local vet or pet store and ask them for help.

there professionals so theyll know more.

as from experience i had hampsters with the same problem i took care of them alot but they stunk and had problems with there teeth and i just went to the pet store and asked for help.

then they lived for like 3 years after

rats smell bad any way clean then out 2 times a weak with pet sisinfectent the tethe will grow back if there snapped because they contantly grow trim their nails every 3 or 4 weeks or make them walk on sand papaer of concrete so they ware them down feed them 1 bowl of food per day give them fresh water every day and give them lots of things to do and hang things from their cage for a chalenge then they will be perfectly happy

make sure they have a huge cage.

if they have a runny nose get them to the vet quickly.

if there teeth are to long bring them to the vet.

        Some rats are allergic to carefresh.

if they are males, of course they'll stink.

they have stuff to help nuetralize the stink.

oh and they love to climb so get them a big cage and dont get any bedding with cedar, well ratsrule says it.
