Did the French help the Indians by getting countries to back them up?

  2. the french were allies with some of the indian nations but since they were defeated by the british they did not give back the lands because the british kicked them out of north america  

  3. yea sort of, the French fought the British for control of the canada area and the west of the APP. mountians. The Indians fought along them becasue other tribes that joined the british army were rivials with other tribes and indians didnt fight with their enemies so... hope this helps just google it, that could help too

    the Indians aided the French, because the English were more settlers, who were pushing the Indians out, while the French were more hunters and trappers, not looking to settle the land, just use it

Most groups of native Americans sided with the British because the British made an agreement that the Indians could have all the land west of the Appalachian Mountains. The French were just fighting to keep control of their land in North America.
