  1. You know those tumble drier sheets you can buy from morrisons? bounce or the own brands??

I have a few of them in wardrobes and in drawers, they smell lovely. of course they dont last forever so you will have to change them every so often but they do a good job!

It keeps the clothes smelling nice and fresh.

  2. i usually just keep a fabric softener sheet in with the clothes    even a used one has a fair amount of scent to it

  3. I grow lavender, dry it and put it in little fabric bags to keep items in my drawers smelling nice.

  4. Here are a few more ideas for keeping drawers smelling nice - keep all of those perfume sample pages that come in catalogs and magazines and just tuck them in among your clothing and store unopened bars of soap in your drawers.  I store my scented candles in the shoe closet for the same reason.  None of these ideas cost an extra cent.

  5. Lavender and you can also buy liners that are already scented they also have others if you like but here is one

  6. Not a crazy idea after all.  I actually use an unscented carbon odor absorber called Innofresh AUTO odor eliminator and place them in my clothes drawers and closet.    I buy it at my local automotive store - Checker Auto.  Totally unscented and no chemicals or spills to worry about.   It absolutely eliminates musty smell in drawers just as it does in my car.   I checked it out and you can also get at Murray's, Kragen and Schucks auto.

Stay away from the fragrances unless you want to walk around smelling like a pine tree.  Innofresh actually gets rid of smells.

  7. If you have any perfumed bars of soap (perhaps given as presents and not used) unwrap them and store with your clothes.

  8. about 8 years ago my sister brought me some lavender sachets in linen cloth from Ireland that I STILL keep in my drawers and they still smell fresh when you scrunch them up to refresh the lavender inside.

You can buy dried lavender in craft stores or online, and once you have some, you can put it in a sock or something and sew closed to keep in your drawers.  Just scrunch it now and then to release the fragrance.

  9. You can use a dryer sheet, like Snuggle or Bounce.
