  1. http://www.sfgov.org/site/youth_commissi...

  2. Companies like McDonald's or Subway hire people in their 17's. They don't ask you if you're doing well or not at school, you just list the school name on the application without more details.

You should go to fast food restaurants such that ones listed above and fill up the applications. Trust me they love to hire young people like you.

Do not say "I'm behind in life". You can do well and school, what you need is more effort on your classes. You should try to do all your best at school instead of looking for a job. I know we all need money, but if you keep going studying you will double your salary in a future. You will not be stuck making the minimum wage.

Take advantage that you're parents are paying rent, bills etc, etc.....and dedicate your time to school. When you're working you basically lose your freedom lol.....

Look at me I'm in college and working as well. Sometimes it's hard to me to divide my time because I need to complete out-classroom work and can't do that  because of work.

This is just an advice I wanted to tell you

    Good Luck
