  1. They either need to be enrolled in 1st grade or show proof of homeschooling by around 6 years old.

  2. yes anywhere from 3-4 yrs of age.

  3. 6 years old

  4. Depends on where you live.  In the U.S., kindergarten is usually optional, but children have to either attend school, or be homeschooled between first grade (usually age 6) and age 16.

EDIT: In our district a child has to actually BE five (have turned 5 the previous June) to even be allowed to start kindergarten.

  5. 4 or 5 depending on where you live.  You have to call your childs school to find out.  In my town kids start kindergarten if they are 5 by October 1st of the new school year.  The nieghboring town you have to be 5 by Dec. 31st.  All towns are different but kids usuallly have to be or be turning 5.

  6. This depends on where you live.  In the U.S., it varies by state.  Generally it's 5 or 6, though there's generally an exception for homeschooling if the homeschooling meets state regulations.
