Do you know each others in real life?

Question

Since most of you guys are all foreigners in Thailand. Do you ever meet with each other for Thai ice office?

You seem pretty close and teasing one another on your questions and answers.

Hmmm.. I think you should study abroad... Ice Tea is an American- not English thing... They drink hot tea with cream in England, while Americans drink Ice Tea with lemon and sugar, Beer ... everybody drinks beer ... English more than Americans...

I have met several people from YA, but from a different forum.

Haven't met anyone here. But, I have a 360 page on Yahoo and almost met someone from there. The only thing is she (with her husband and two big sons) were in the trade show on hardware that I wasn't interested in.

K. Bob, I can be you financial adviser for free if you wanted me to. There was this British guy wanna hired me & lawyer just to buy a condo, but I told him he doesn't need one, and that the more important thing in buying condi is knowing the project owner; whether they will cheat you or not.

Apart from that, nobody knows that I'm a dead seal. I got this seal picture from an internet, thinking it'd be grown up already and turns black in colour. But, unfortunately, they skin the fur to ship to Hong Kong and meat to Korea for BBQ. This is from Canada.

Mostly we don't know each other in real life but if you look at forums like the "Nanapong" you see lots of teasing and joking between people. There is also many time people will try to get together for beers (not iced coffee 5555) there is even a section where people post the dates they will be in Thailand. We share a great deal of useful information about life in the Land of Smiles.

Is it only ice coffee? are you eliminating ice tea or maybe a beer? why the obsession w/coffee? or maybe I am missing something here?

I probably would not want to meet others on the answer board because I have an idea in my head who everyone is (Some more than one) and seeing them in person would just ruin it.  I'd hate to find out that someone like hope was actually a guy and not a neurotic Thai girl or that I couldn't meet Khun Bob and his alter egos at the same time.

I've never met anyone here. But since starting answers I have moved back to the US. There was only one other "regular" that I was aware of that lived in my neck of the woods. She gives really good Phuket answers.

If I were in Ranong, I would like to buy Khun Bob a beer, he says it like it is!

There are certain people whose advice to others I store in my little brain, because I hope to go back to live in the LOS after retirement.
