Obama voted to grant ~habeas corpus~ to persons being detained by the US. Apparently John McCain does not recognize the bill of rights as he voted against it.

  1. Obama has a bill to vote on called the global poverty act S2433 which will give 845,000,000,000 dollars to third world countries from your taxes and mine paid for by a tax on carbon fuels that will raise the gas by 1.00 a gal.

My congressman is voting NO !!!

Check out this voting link for McCain and be fair if you can.

  2. Nice to see you did some homework, however:

Obama voted in favor increasing taxes on people making less than 42K

Obama voted in favor a a bill that would have given Big Oil a tax credit, McCain voted NO

Obama has PORK McCain does not

Obama voted NO on funding America's heros in Iraq

Obama is the #1 most liberal Senator

Obama votes over 90% along party lines McCain is a maverick and has oppoed Bush many times and angered those in his party.

Obamna has little to no bi-partisan work. McCain has tons! (Finegold, Kenedy, etc.)

Obama as chair of a comitee with oversight of NATO in Afghanistan NEVER called for a single meeting or hearing.

In the Il Senate Obama votes "present" 130 times! Including twice on Late Term Abortions, on parental notification of teens seeking abortion, on protecting victims privacy.

Obama opposed the Il version of BAIPA

  3. One thing I do know is this

Both McCain and Obama have the worst voting record attendence.

Obama is number two and McCain is number one in missed votes.

So that part is a wash.

    I like your post nevertheless

    Obama all the way

  4. And, let us NOT forget that from the get-go, Obama voted AGAINST this Iraq war, McCain voted for it.

  5. I just looked up several of those. The results are too long to post here, but I have to say; many of the things McCain voted against as compared to Obama had 'extras' attached to the bills. I'm pretty certain that, according to McCains comments on each, those were what he was voting against...

Now I have to wonder, was Obama voting only for those bills, or for some of the extras...
