u know how u hav to buy a card to call your country so that u wont get charged.......i want 2 know if its the same because i need to make a few phone call to a person that lives in NY and Miami but i dont know how.....with out getting charged a lot of money........

Try EarthCaller using just your web browser and a headset:

Just dial the persons 10-digit phone number x*x-x*x-xxxx.

(don't use a 1 in front of number, like usually done for long distance calls... it only calls to USA/Canada, so the 1 is understood and not needed)

The first time you use EarthCaller, your web browser will want to download a small plug-in applet, which runs the VoIP engine.  After that, it works seamlessly each time you place a call.

For now, EarthCaller calls are free to USA/Canada
