  1. You need to conact the Local Government Ombudsman & they will be able to advise you & to take your complaint further for you !


  2. Knock on their door and say "You're ****!"...

    It depends on which council and what the complaint is about.

    Most will have something similar to a standards committee, they supposedly ensure that the councils "code of conduct" isn't breached, so for complaints about the quality of the councillor or their work then that's your first bet. If it's a complaint about something else i.e criminal activity/inappropriate behaviour etc then you'd either go to the Police or to the Councils legal department.

    What I will point out however is that these "Standards committees" are usually hosted by their mates and so it's unlikely any minor complaint will get you anywhere. Unless they're a councillor that they want rid of anyway, BNP etc.
