  1. bring up yahoo messenger.

    RIGHT click on the person you want to edit.

    scroll down to contact details

    left click

    then click on the mobile number and push delete

    type new number in and press the save button at the bottom

    ALSO IF YOU ARE HAVEING TROUBLE WITH THE MESSENGER YOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD.

    INTERNET EXPLORER IE7 FOR YAHOO MESSENGER

    that is if your messenger is not working correctly or some things dont work. like your short cut to your mail.

    and click preferences..

    then, go to general...

    at the bottom, find edit mobile devices...
