Do you know how to use Adsense? i need some help plz?

i just got my new blog at blogger.com and i want to add some advertisings after i choose the ad they give me a code.. i have no clue of what i need to do with it... do i just choose the advertising and it will appear in my blog since adsense has all my info?

Adsense is CONTEXTUAL advertising -- which means that it will serve ads based on the content of your site.

For example, you write a post on "green marketing"  you'll get ads on "starting a green business" or "marketing a business." The idea is that by serving relevant ads based on the content of the page, the visitors are more likely to click on the ads

So what do you do?

- Write good, quality content in your blog (without content, no ads will be shown not to mention the blog not getting any traffic)

- Put the code in your blog. Read Adsense suggestions on where to best put the ads in your blog http://adsense.blogspot.com/2006/01/blog...

- Get traffic, and more and more traffic

- Write more content

The beauty of Adsense is that it is fully automated. You don't do anything --unless your site becomes well known enough that advertisers are placement targeting your site (though that is going too fast).

When you first put the code, it may take awhile for the relevant ads to show. So in the example I gave on "green marketing," Adsense may first show ads on "ebay" which has nothing to do directly with green marketing
