Do you know if I can take my Archos (personal video player - like a video Ipod) through Cuban customs?

I hear Cuba bans imports for such things - but I am only taking it over as a tourist and will take it home with me...

That should not be a problem.

You may need to make it clear that you are bringing it for personal use not as a gift. I recommend that you keep it in hand luggage.

Yes you can bring your iPod. I always brought my players with me and never had a problem...people bring their digital cameras, camcorders, mp3 players, cd players without a problem. If they think you're bringing things to sell them, then that would be an issue. But other than that, it will be no problem.
