Obama opposes same s*x marriage.

During a taping of WBBM-AM's "At Issue," Barack Obama was asked his personal views on g*y marriage. He said "I'm a Christian, and so although I try not to have my religious beliefs dominate or determine my political views on this issue, I do believe that tradition and my religious beliefs say that marriage is something sanctified between a man and a woman."

He does approve of "civil unions" but not marriage. I don't think he could admit to it if he wanted to though because it would cost him too many votes. He does promise to do more for g*y rights though. If it were up to McCain we would all be under a rock somewhere. Obama certainly will get my vote!

Well lately he's been asked what he thinks about same-s*x marriages, and he answered "It's between man and a woman"

That upset me but he probably said that because he thought he would get less votes if he supported.
