I am both a buyer, and a seller on ebay. So, I know the ropes, and have only had fairly good experiences.  

Plus, you need to understand that paying with Paypal is also and added protection for both buyers and sellers.  

Also, make sure you read the sellers feedback.  If they have a lot of happy customers, this is an indication that you will have a pleasant experience.

well, sort of. i offered for a few things, and i never got got an email or anything saying i would get it our not. so, yeah. and anyway, ebay is used stuff.

we have bought many things on ebay, from a few dollars to a couple hundred and always had a good outcome using ebay and paypal. so i would say they are trustworthy. there is prob a few bad seeds on there. if you really wanna know read the feedbacks people give the sellers and see how the buyers were treated.
