bear in mind both countries are trying to attract people in the areas where we have worker shortages & I'm not so sure that that would be truck driving.  In NZ we are looking for IT professionals, lawyers, accountants, teachers, doctors & nurses.

My guess would be no, since one of the requirements asks about education:

    * You must have had this experience within the last 10 years.

Ability in English and/or French Maximum 24 points

Experience Maximum 21 points

Age Maximum 10 points

Arranged employment in Canada Maximum 10 points

Hi,  not sure about it classed as being skilled,  but one bit of advise, get your  HGV 1, much chance off getting a better job,if it is Canada, be prepared to drive some very long distances, and you will earn very good money, you can get entry into Canada as a truck driver.good luck.
