  1. try google.co.nz & google.ca & email some truck companies to ask

bear in mind both countries are trying to attract people in the areas where we have worker shortages & I'm not so sure that that would be truck driving.  In NZ we are looking for IT professionals, lawyers, accountants, teachers, doctors & nurses.

also check out this job website for job availability & some mention the salary.  If the job is advertised through a job agency you can contact them for advice:

    seek.co.nz

careers.govt.nz  - search truck driver or haulage, etc on here, it mentions if there are job shortages, etc & tells you the wages that can be earned, etc.

immigration.govt.nz  - find out if you are able to work here

  2. yes

  3. For Canada, you would need to take the test on the Canadian Immigration website, to find out:

    http://cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skill...

My guess would be no, since one of the requirements asks about education:

Note: You must meet the following minimum requirements to apply as a skilled worker:

        * You have at least one continuous year of full-time, paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment.

        * Your work experience must be Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC).

        * You must have had this experience within the last 10 years.

    Education   Maximum 25 points

Ability in English and/or French Maximum 24 points

    Experience Maximum 21 points

    Age Maximum 10 points

Arranged employment in Canada Maximum 10 points

    Adaptability Maximum 10 points

    Total Maximum 100 points

    Pass mark 67 points

    Good luck!
