  1. i have a very high quality regroving tool that i purchased 12 years ago ,from golfsmith . repair shops carge 14.95 per club . any large store will carry these tools . find a old club to practice on . you will be surprised with the inprovment . best to use gun oil as a lubricant . best investment you will make . also you can purchase used wedges, grovees worn dirt cheap , regrove , make a 20 dollar profit , or charge people 5 dolars . it does work .nothing wrong with little money

  2. Well if no-one will do it locally for you, you could ship it to Maltby Golfworks and they will do it, or you can order a tool from them to do it yourself.  www.MaltbyGolfworks.com

  3. it's hard to find places that do it, because the club becomes non-conforming, in a technical sense.  It is considered new, like it just came off the assembly line, and needs to be inspected to make sure it is conforming.

If you're not worried about the anal retentive nature of the rules, you can get you a little "groove tool" at a place like TGW.com and do it yourself.  It's very easy.

Or, if you're good with a Dremmel tool, you can do it that way.

If you do choose to go that route but are into conforming with the rules (a safe bet if you do tournaments) you need to find someone that is PGA sponsored to check the club to make sure the grooves are within the allowable width tolerance.

That's difficult to do, which is why they push for people to buy new wedges every 6 months or so.  It also doesn't hurt the club manufacturer's pocketbooks, either.
