Do you know if people from uruguay celebrate a girls sweet 15?

I know in america, it's more common for a girl to have a sweet 16, but I've heard that in latin america, they celebrate sweet 15's. I was just wondering if Uruguay celebrated it that way too, and also , is it very common in uruguay for them to have party's like that?

Yes, a quinceanera is popular in all south american countries.  My friend who is from Paraguay had one when she turned 15.
