  1. Gee, I think either one.  In both you lay down and paddle on the board at one point and look like a seal, sharky's favorite meal.  Shark attacks are rare, per say.  I mean, more people are killed by automobiles, in fact, more people are killed by soda machines falling on them.  BUT, we don't drive in the water and sharks don't swim in the streets.  Per capita, there are not that many people surfing.  Someone is gonna get bit!!   When you swim on his plate and dress like his favorite food...just be careful out there!

  2. think about it this way, of the millions, and I mean millions of people that get in the water every year and surf, body board, boogie board, skim board, swim, you get the idea...  how many shark attacks are there worldwide?  around 100 or so on average.  you have to look at the statistics and be able to interpret the results.  look at the activity, water conditions, time of day, time of year, geographic location of the beach, what kind of shark...  lots of variables go into this one.

  3. Id Say A Bodyboarder has More Resemblence to a seal than a surfer does, dues to the fact that u wear flippers, u have a short stumpy board and u use both arms and feets to paddle, making you splash more.

But On The OtherHand Ive Only Heard Of Surfers being Attacked By Sharks.. so i think surfers are at greater risk, and ive only ever seen one shark so im happy =)

  4. Bodyboarders because it makes you look a lot more like a shark. But seriously, you are in the sharks territory so if you get attacked don't be surprised. Also, it depends where you live, cause some sharks only live in certain areas.

  5. i have a friend that got followed around by sharks, but there are suppossed to be really rare attacks.
