  1. I'm sorry may friend, there is no direct train service between Stamford CT and Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ.

From Stamford, you will have to take Metro-North New Haven Line to Grand Central. The trip takes about 60 to 90 minutes and the fare is $18.50 for a round trip off peak ticket. Please buy your ticket before boarding.

Once at Grand Central, transfer to the New York City subway. Take the 42nd Street Shuttle from Grand Central to Times Square. The fare on the subway is $2 each way. You can purchase you MetroCard at the ticket booth or the ticket machine in Stamford before take the train in to the City.

At Times Square, walk to the Port Authority Bus Terminal via the underground concourse. Follow the directional signs that says "Port Authority Bus Terminal" and the "A", "C" and "E" subway line.

At the Port Authority Bus Terminal, take NJ Transit route 308 to the Six Flags.

I hope this information is very helpful.

    Good luck

  2. No.

    By Train/Subway:

Step 1: Take New Haven Line from Stamford Station to Grand Central.

Step 2: Take 42nd St Shuttle or Times Sq-bound (7) train to Times Sq, follow sign to Port Authority Bus Terminal.

From there, take NJ Transit #308 bus.

By Bus: Peter Pan goes directly from Stamford, CT to Port Authority Bus Terminal in NY.

Just don't make mistake, PeterPan only offer package to Six Flags New England.
