I am talking about the kind that skip or are no good in some way, floppy disks, CD's, DVDs, etc from Mary Kay, Arbonne, etc to tell you how to sell and the like. Also, VHS video tapes. I was thinking that if they can melt down the other stuff to make more, why not this stuff? I'd hate to just throw it all out. I have been saving them for a while now.

  2. I think that reclamere in tyrone pa wold take them I know they do recycle old computers and other electronics

  3. Your community may or may not offer electronics recycling. I would call your local public works or recycling department and ask.

If not accepted locally, there is a company where you can send used electronic equipment and disks--all the stuff you mentioned they take. It's called www.greendisk.com.  However this service is not free. It's not too pricey though, especially if you go in on it with some other folks or can convince your employer that it's a good idea. They send you a "technotrash" can and once you meet a certain weight, you send it back (postage is included in the price).

    Good luck!

  4. Hi,

Not sure about the discs and VHS tapes themselves but you can take cases to the local library as they often will use them to replace broken ones on their products.
