Do you know of a bank that does not charge a fee for international ATM transactions?

I plan on traveling to a different country and would like to spend as little money as possible.

  1. I think you should go to the banks around your area and ask them about it, because the banks are different depending where you are. If there is a UMB bank around, I know they don't charge for international ATM transactions.  


  2. Bank of America offices can be found in many countries.

    You may also want to put some money into American Express travellers' checks.

  3. Many banks have free ATM withdrawals. However a foreign ATM probably has its own fees. Not to mention there is usually a fee via international regulation. Something your bank cannot do anything about.
