It happens. Often they are in the entertainment industry, but as make up artists, behind the scenes people who hardly anyone knows, etc. A lot of times when they get married then they move up the ladder and people forget that they were a "common person" just a bit before. One of the biggest producers married someone who worked in another producer's office. A big-time director married his high school sweetheart, and another one married someone who he met on a blind date, who is not in the business at all. It happens. Tony Danza's wife worked as a cocktail waitress at Carlos N Charlies when he met her, but they never mention that.

You can only marry someone you can come in contact with, so it makes sense that celebrities would marry someone in the same business, because they'd come in contact with them. Supposedly people are likely to marry someone who lives within a mile of their home, so make sure you're in a good neighborhood. ;-)

I'm sure it's happened unfortunately for us common people, however, it doesn't seem to happen often. I wouldn't say its likely but I'd never give up hope because who knows you may end up in the right place at the right time...
