Do you know of a college like this?

I really want to study mathematics. I haven't decided what I want to do with it, but I love math, and so I figure just studying math could get me somewhere. As far as careers go, I'm in the process of looking into: statistician, accountant, actuary, and as a last resort, a math teacher.

More importantly, I need to start applying to colleges. I've decided to apply to a few schools, though I'm not particularly fond of them. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Kettering University, Purdue University, and Harvey Mudd College, too, despite how far it is from my home in Crown Point, Indiana.

I'm having a hard time finding more colleges that specialize in mathematics. My senior year of high school begins on August 20th. I'm running out of time and I desperately need help.

If you know of any colleges similar to what I am looking for, please let me know. It would be so greatly appreciated... =S

  1. First thing that comes to mind is M.I.T.

My dad is an accountant. He went o Boston College but i think its cost a lot more now then back then. But there are 100,000s of diff. scholarships you can get. But practically all Collges have math majors so no matter where you go, you will get the job you want. He also went to Berkeley to get his masters.

Here are a few colleges i have found:

    Morton College

    (this can help a lot)

    Berkeley

    University of Hawaii

    Columbia

    Dartmouth

    UVM

    UNH

    Penn

    Minnesota

    Michigan

    Chicago

    Yale

    Cal Tech

    NYU

    Cornell

    Rutgers

    Texas

    Brown

    and Cornell.

Go to your school. There is a book that tells which colleges you should go to for your ideal career. Go to your counselor or a guidance teacher. There is also a website but your school nees to give you your account. It is so simple and narrows it right down for you, it begins with an E..

Just stay calm & dont stress. Your school i ssupposed to help you. You will find the right college. Did you take the SATs yet?

All you have to do is dont freak out. You sound like you have a very good head on your shoulders & more studenst should be like you. You are doing evrything right.

I will keep looking for colleges.

Good Luck to you & your future.
