  1. My Father's World is like that. It starts the multiple children at different ages at the 2nd or 3rd grade. http://mfwbooks.com/2-8_home.htm

  2. Yes. Tapestry of Grace. Tapestry of Grace teaches children in kindergarten through 12th grade, history, literature, geography, fine arts, writing and composition and more.

The only subject TOG does not address are math, science, formal phonics and spelling, foreign language, and formal grammar study.

    Check it out at http://www.tapestryofgrace.com/index.php

So depending on your children's ages you would use TOG and then decide on math and science and you could be done. My children are past studying phonics so with TOG and science and math, we are all set.

Our family of four children love it!

  3. Sonlight can be taught to different age levels. Core 1+2 go from ages 6-9, Core 3+4 ages 8-12.

It's a Christian Literature based curricula.

  4. Almost any Unit Study.

Here are a few popular ones:

    Konos

    Further Up and Further In

Usually you will need to teach certain things separately(like Math, and sometimes phonics depending on how wide an age range you have), but can get together for Science, History, Art, some literature, etc.

There are also a lot of curriculums that are not complete unit studies, but let you teach one subject to multiple ages.

    For example:

  5. I'll second the advice to look into Tapestry of Grace. It has been created and tested extensively by hundreds of home school families and it is constantly being updated and improved. The curriculum provides more teacher helps than anything else I've ever seen. As an added bonus, TOG works hard to incorporate common books you can find at most libraries so there is less to buy. I've used it and found it to be an excellent blend of a solid academic foundation, with a large variety of activities so it can be applied to all age groups and all learning styles. The curriculum lays out for you exactly what each age group needs to be studying and all ages follow the same topics. Check out their free sample pages on the web site to see how wonderfully this is set up for you.  It does take some time to get use to using, it can seem overwhelming at first, but again, there is a lot of on-line help at their site. The curriculum is less than $300 and then you pick and choose which, if any, of the books you need to buy.
