  1. McGraw Hill  Under www.academicbookservices.com

  2. This is an excellent one, it's K-12 and non-consumable.  It's a collection of lessons and ideas that are very easy to do.  The blackline map CD or book on the site (Uncle Josh's) is also excellent.

The Continent, Habitat, and State Studies from Hands of a Child (lapbook studies) are excellent as well:

  5. i'm useing abeka geography now and i love it-it's grade nine i don't know what grade ur looking for but i'm really enjoying the curiculum

  6. I got a subscription to a homeschooling magazine and got a some geographhy curriculumn free. While planning our new school year I was thrilled a how great they are.

Hold That Thought is what we are going to use. We will be learning USA history this year and I plan on using it with all 3 of my kids ages 11 & 7. My 5 1/2 yr old son may join us if he likes.

It is more like notebooking if you are familer with that. Here is a link to it:

We love it and can't wait to start using it.

I too have struggled at finding some fun to use.

Also you may want to check out this website. We follow this curriculum and use old fashioned school books for our homeschool. We follow the Charlotte Mason method and it works great for our family:

Just click on Geography and you'll see some of the books that we also use. You read stories about other lands. I plan on using: High Roads Geography with my 7yr old and 5yr old.

My 11yr old loves the Dutch Twins so she's reading The Eskimo Twins this year even though it's more for younger kids it's great way to learn about other cultures.

    Enjoy!
