Do you know of any environmentally friend, non-toxic, people friendly bubble baths or soaks?

I know Lush makes some of them but I have to drive quite a way to go to that store.

I've tried using Biokleen's Hand Moisturizing Dishwash Liquid (I've checked out the ingredients and they're vegetable derived and the bottle says it can be used as a bubble bath. I tried it with no problems but I'm afraid to try it again; just in case).

I won't use California Baby because some of the essential oils irritate my skin and their products are way overpriced.

Know of any other products? I'll even try to make a homemade one!

No SLS, chemicals/synthetics, or parabens please.

Thank you! :)

  1. Try some Epsom salt. It's one of the best mineral out there.

You can soak them into the hot tub and it will relax your muscles out. You can even rub it directly onto the skin, and it will exfoliate the dead cells.

I am an Asian, and salt is one of the must have items for ladies in Asia.

Just don't rub them on wounds or something.

    Try! Epsom salt, I recommend!

    Enjoy!

  2. Have you tried Veriuni natural products? They do not contain: preservatives, toxins, hazardous ingredients. Not only is Veriuni's products concentrated, they're safe for gray water and septic systems.  If you're interested, I'll send you a link so you may look at all the natural products I have to offer. If you have any questions, let me know. Take Care,Erika

  3. Lush does do mail order....

and Burt's Bees makes a yummy buttermilk soak

  4. Every single thing in the world is a "chemical".  If I told you that something contained "sodium bicarbonate" would you know that's baking soda?  Or how about "nicotinamide"?  Oooh sounds scary.   Ascorbic acid?  RUN FOR THE HILLS!

The only place you won't find a chemical is in a vacuum.

Would it help if you knew that SLS is made from palm kernel or coconut oil?

Um, thumbs-downing me does not change the truth in what I said.

Epsom salt is a chemical.  Water is a chemical.  The air you breath is entirely chemicals.  Get the idea?
