Do you know of any free programs that will convert .wma music files to mp3's?

Question

I've got all the music I need on Windows Media Player, but I can't use them for Youtube vids so I'm having to download them. It's taking up alot of memory as I'm doubling up on everything. Do you know of any free programs that will convert them to mp3's?

'Audacity' is free and a fantastic audio editor.   Make sure to get the plug-ins for working with windows files; makes it more versatile.

Get it at 'snapfiles.com/freeware' look in the audio headings.

you can try tuneclone audio converter. my friend recommended it to me. it works really nice. it can convert wma music files (including protected) to mp3 files with very high quality at very fast speed.

It is certainly reliable and free of spywares. It can convert the files to MP3.

Let me add my two cents that the "mp3" generation is getting further away from hi-fi sound than ever.  Re-compressing your collection of compressed wma files, will only degrade quality further.
