Do you know of any interesting tidbits about the Army?

I am looking for outside the norm type responses (not just #'s). I am giving a briefing to some retired Army/Navy officers so I am really looking for something strong. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I know that looking on what equates to an internet message board is probably not the best place to get accurate information for a presentation you will give.  Maybe you should try wikipedia, the next most accurate source of information on the internet.
