You might also try asking about the resort on here.  I did that a while back and got many helpful answers.

What resort are you staying at? Often if you yahoo the name many sites will come up with additional reviews and information. My experience with tripadvisor is right on the mark. The traveler's who post give very honest reviews most of the time.
