Will be in Downtown St. Louis for three nights next week and would like to take my husband to a couple of places for dinner. We are already planning on going to Charlie Gitto's one night. Thanks!

  1. Several on Washington Avenue including Lucas Park Grille and Flannerys (a sports bar, very casual).  Mosaic is also good.

Closer to Busch Stadium is J Bucks or Mike Shannons.  Both very good - Mike Shannon's is a bit pricey...

For an eclectic atmosphere with live music, you may want to check our Broadway Oyster Bar (about a block south of the stadium), the food is Cajun - outdoor patio (again, very casual).  Generally a lot of fun.

    Enjoy!

  2. The Old Spaghetti Factory

  3. Just a dab south of downtown is the Soulard neighborhood.  It would be hard to get a bad meal there.  Union Station has some good places too.  If it's still there, Piccolinos in the Metropolitan building on Broadway about 3 blocks north of Market was really good, and of course, if you've got the dough Tony's is "the" downtown spot.  There are several places around Kiener Plaza, one block north of Market Street just west of Broadway has some nice places.  There's about any kind of food you want on the landing, and Lumiere has a great variety of restaurants there.  Hodaks aroudn 12th and Russell has St. Louis' #1 fried chicken and it's CHEAP.
