  1. Could probably find someone on Craigslist with an ad posting for it.

  2. I do actually, but they are in WI.  Maybe traveling pool lessons would be a great business venture :)

  3. Of course, It depends on the Kid or Kids....  There is always a house pro in most pool rooms but you must consider the kid or kids.  How Old and what they can or should be exposed to.   If you are serious about them learning the game they will learn to hustle games in time.  This might cost you some money but it is money well spent because this is where the nerves settle and the focus begins.   Younger ones just getting started need to learn and play in some local tournaments.   This will teach them how to appreciate a win and regret the shots missed that caused a loss.  Hope this helps.

I wish my dad had taught me when I was young.  I was in my 20's when I found out he was once a player.  We did get to play and I learned a lot.  But know I earned it with him, he didn't give me a shot he didn't have to.  Love that...

  4. Contact your local poolroom.  Most cities have at least one upscale room that features a house-pro.  I teach in New York City and although I do offer lessons/clinics for children, oftentimes it's 12-years-old or above.

  5. Any professional instructor will teach kids if you pay them. If you're looking for someone to do it for free, spread the word among local league players. I guarantee you there are plenty of top level league players who have kids who'd be more than willing to do something like that.
