Do you know people who don't act like their Sun Sign?

Question

This may be a rising or moon sign conflict, but I've noticed:

Geminis are supposed to be intelligent "thinkers," yet most Geminis I know just talk a lot, and don't necessarily sound smart. Many cannot even spell or use proper grammar. They are often obnoxious and will do anything for attention, especially from the opposite s*x, but this might just be within my generation.

Scorpios are supposed to be deep, passionate, and mysterious, but many that I know are shallow and passive. I am a Scorpio myself, and I am accommodating to those I care about, but I'll never let someone step all over me like other Scorpios I know.

People that have held true to their signs consistently are Capricorns, Saggittarius, and Leos (I've never met a Leo that wasn't proud and boastful).

Who else knows large groups of people who don't act like their sign?

Well, I don't. Aquarians are supposed to be outgoing and not sensitive? Well, my rising is in Cancer and trust me, I'm really emotional and I'm not outgoing at all.

Capricorns, yes, but my best friend is one, and her rising is in Aries. She's really hyper to people but once you get to know her, she's still the serious and dull Capricorn that everyone knows.

Leo and Sagittarians are mostly true. But I have met one special Sagittarius that's really secretive and emotional. Maybe that's because she has Pisces moon and Pisces rising? Haha. :]

Scorpios, I agree with you. Every Scorpio I've met, everyone, betrayed me. But they are the bestest friends at first.

There were actually 13 zodiac constellations but the 13th one which is Ophiuchus has been left out for some reason.  I think that affects it somehow.  Also, the earth axis is off due to precession (whatever that is) which messed up the entire zodiac system and that has not been taken into account by astrologers when determining your sign.  Polaris is our north pole star right now but when the signs were originally set up thousands of years ago our north pole star was Vega and that's because the earth axis has tilted toward Polaris.  Astrologers don't take this into account so therefore we could very well be misinformed when it comes to what sun sign we're suppose to be.

It might be best to go with Chinese astrology.  The Aztecs had the best one but a lot of their info has been lost due to looters and archeologist and time.  This is just my opinion.

I can see what you mean, but I still think it's important to look at the whole chart because there are so many other factors that can take that sun sign and dominate it. One thing I have found though is that I don't get along with capricorns in a romantic relationship, but as friends we are great. I also don't get a long with scorpio's but I tend to tolerate the females better than the males. It's the same way with the caps, though I don't know if it's a a male/female thing there or not. My x-husband was a cap, and he was all cap, sun, moon, venus. And his sister is also a cap, they have the same birthday but 2 years apart so her chart is different, her moon is in libra, my sun sign, and we are best friends for over 10 years. So I still think it's very important to consider the whole chart and not just group by sun sign.

Well im a leo, and i dont act like my sun sign, im not proud or boastfull, i do have very thick hair though? also i dont like to be the center of attention.

Some people. My sister is an Aries and acts just like one: ambitious, loves excitement but also is imaginative, not really an Aries quality. I do act like my sun sign, Pisces: imaginative, sensitive to the extreme, hates backstabbers and hates being criticized. Sometimes the rising DOES have alot to do with the personality, but in honesty, if you are going to know some facts about yourself, just stick to YOUR sign and none of that rising stuff.
