  1. Break it down.  UTG everyone is left to act behind you.  Which means there's probably at least one hand that is going to come in for a raise.  So if you limp you'll be raised.  If you raise you'll be re-raised.  The whole point of knowing that the table is aggressive is knowing that limping is near impossible, and good hands won't slow play.  So suppose you have TJo.  That's a good hand to see flops with IF you can see them cheap.  And at an aggressive table, UTG, you almost certainly won't.  TJ is, in my book, overrated.  Sure you can hit the nut straight, but you need to hit the flop hard.  And that's not worth calling a second or third bet just to see if you got lucky.  A bet saved is a bet earned.  K9, QT, and A8 wouldn't even be considered by me.  Those are junk hands that I wouldn't even raise with from the CO.

At an aggressive table you want to make that aggression work in your favor by paying off your big hands.  Tighten up, use position to your advantage, and play the opposite of everyone else.  If you don't play often but throw haymakers when you do then other people will start to heisitate before getting involved with you.  And then you can start stealing a pot here and there.  But nobody's going to respect you entering the pot UTG, and there will almost undoubtedly be a raise behind you.  Those hands aren't worth calling a raise pre-flop.  Fold.

  2. yes. i usually play nothing less than AJ/88's UTG on a full table, and half the time i'll fold aj.

  3. not necessarily I've won with more mediocre hands then that I've won with 10/2 as a hand i got a full house with a bit of luck with the J10 you could get a flush if a K Q and A come out on the flop turn and river you don't know if you don't try just make a bet if you don't get the cards to make a flush or possible flush then i suggest you fold

  4. Fold!

Play tight conservative against an agressive table.

    Same with K9o, Q 10o and A8o.

Pick premium starting hands and slow play against agressive players and they will be sending you chips all night.

  5. In those circumstances--aggressive opponents, five hands in? Not even a question. I'd fold without hesitation.

Generally those are semi-weak hands, but there's no reason to count them out. Those are good hands to mix it up with. Don't count on winning with them, but they can hit some nice flops. You don't want to play top hands all the time, or you'll get pegged.

  6. not if you can get to the flop cheap............
