  1. Emilys poem

    Monday mornings

    Hang upside down

    Pontoon

    today

    Gone is a moon

    Shanghaied

    Emily collects her tears

    in a heart shaped  box

    no work today

    makes her feel

    mild & meek

    for she feels

    she cant really speak?

    Her eyes a dewed

    Turn into  pools

    Floating into dream  ponds

    aching leaves freeze outside

    birds crouch under her eaves

    away from Septembers freeze

    moments like these squeeze

    lemon drops into silent  cups

    she tries

    to figure out

    this figure eight

    that’s called life

    is a working life over

once it hits over forty ?

she doesn’t know how to take

    maybe she can fake

    happiness to make it ?

    afternoons appear to crash

    a mirror has been broken

    silence twilight

    unforsaken tokens

  2. TO MY MOTHER by Edgar Allen Poe

Because I feel that, in the Heavens above,

The angels, whispering to one another,

Can find, among their burning terms of love,

None so devotional as tha of "Mother,"

Therefore by that desr name I long have called you--

You who are more than mother unto me,

And fill my heart of hearts, where Death installed you

In setting my Virginia's spirit free.

My mother, my own mother who died early,

was but the mother of myself;but you

Are mother to the one I loved so dearly,

And thus are dearer than the Mother I knew,

By that infinity with which my wife,

was dearer to my soul than it's soul life.

  3. On together

    So together

    As together

    In together

    To together again

    Of together

    From together

    Apart

  5. I loved TO MY MOTHER above; I've never seen that before. Here's another:

    Parting

    by Charlotte Bronte

    There's no use in weeping,

Though we are condemned to part:

There's such a thing as keeping

    A remembrance in one's heart:

There's such a thing as dwelling

On the thought ourselves have nursed,

And with scorn and courage telling

The world to do its worst.

We'll not let its follies grieve us,

    We'll just take them as they come;

And then every day will leave us

    A merry laugh for home.

When we've left each friend and brother,

When we're parted wide and far,

We will think of one another,

As even better than we are.

    Every glorious sight above us,

    Every pleasant sight beneath,

We'll connect with those that love us,

Whom we truly love till death!

In the evening, when we're sitting

    By the fire, perchance alone,

Then shall heart with warm heart meeting,

    Give responsive tone for tone.

We can burst the bonds which chain us,

Which cold human hands have wrought,

And where none shall dare restrain us

We can meet again, in thought.

So there's no use in weeping,

    Bear a cheerful spirit still;

Never doubt that Fate is keeping

    Future good for present ill!

  6. In Loving Memory

July 1st 2007 To my uncle you died

    the tears I cried

    Along with experiencing  heartache

this is more than one can take

    Because its the pain

    that occurs again and again

    I could not believe

and yet I am not deceived

At least I have an opportunity

    to send you some poetry

Our times was much of a pleasure

now the memories I must treasure

    there was alot of stress

because experiencing something like this is a mess.

  7. Here's a sad poem that I wrote-

    No one to love

    No one to hold

No one to share the memories when we get old

    All alone

    With a broken heart

Looking for light in the dark

With no light to shine when we are apart

Here I sit with a broken heart
