  1. Go to the opra house, the sydney harbour bridge, luna park or may be even bondi beach in sydney, you could go to the Gold Coast they have a variety of amazing things to do there.

  2. Go to the Gold Coast and go to the theme parks and go SHOPPING at awesome factory outlets!

  3. Your question is like asking "what is there to do in teh USA?"

Australia is a BIG country - as big as continental USA. There are PLENTY of things to do - as already said by many answers above.

As I'm sure you are NOT going to be visiting everywhere, what to do really depends on WHERE you will be in Australia.

Do a bit of research and - heaven forbids, google it. There are so many things to do but it depends on WHERE you will visit and what interest you - the beaches, the tropics, the rain forest, the cooler climate country, the vast desert, or the cities and uniques landmarks, the natural wonders and uniqueness of Australia landscape and its flora and fauna. OR... you are only here for the fun - extreme sports, the touristy theme parks and beach and party culture.

    There is something for everyone.

    It's up to you.

    G'day from Australia

  4. I love Aus its amazing, I've been all over and currently live on the Gold Coast because i love it, it is one of the most beautiful places in this fabulous country of ours, i also loved the national parks in Western Australia and Northern Territory, many people don't think about that kind of stuff because most people haven't been over there, if you're into a trip where there's tons of other tourists packing out these beautiful beaches and theme parks then the East Coast is for you but if your interested in isolated beaches, Gorges and national parks beyond imagination in beauty then i truly suggest WA not just for overseas visitors but also for anyone who hasn't discovered them yet, good luck with your holidaying, Wherever you end up here, Australia is a great choice :)

  5. kill a cane toad, they are destroying Australian wildlife

  6. omg go to the sydney opera house that would be awesome. ther is also a loooooot of beaches you could go to. you should visit the great barrier reef its the biggest one in the world and you could go scuba diving. and you ushould go to the outback and see some kangaroos1 also definatly go shopping! i wish i could go there! have fun!

  7. yep im aussie if ur gonna come here u have to go to the gold coast in qld and the theme parks

  8. I would reccomend the major cities (Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane/Gold Coast). Depends how long you are staying for. You could spends a few days at Gold Coast and Brisbane and look around and go to the theme parks which are great fun. Then you could go down to Sydney, see the harbour and spend a few days there. Then to Canberra which is the national capital so there are loads of our national museums etc plus Parliament house.

Then there's Melbourne (Australia's second largest city) which is where I'm from so i know a bit about it. (You might need a few days ;)  ). There is the Eureka tower which is Australia's tallest building to the roof and has an observation deck, there's LOTS of shops and cafes in the city if you like shopping and heaps of small laneways which melbourne is famous for. Then there's penguins on phillip Island (you can boat tour there) and since Melbourne is the home of AFL I highly reccomend watching a game if you come during the season (starts around March ends in September). You could also dine in the "Fifteen" restaurant Jamie Oliver set up and Gordan Ramsay is setting one up here too. And there's also Kath and Kim and Neighbours filmed here is you're into that so you can see the houses and Ramsay St.. then there's the famous MCG stadium and Australia's best galleries and the worlds biggest Australian (and aborigine) art collection. Then there's the modern Federation Square and heaps of old and new buildings.

Hope you have a great time!

Weird ad for Melbourne. Makes it look like Europe :) Do watch it.

  9. Well first of all you have to go to Byron Bay- the beaches there are awsume and offer learning to surf lessons, scuba diving, kayaking, paragliding etc-Byron is about 2 hrs from Brisbane.

Then you should go to the Gold Coast and go to the theme parks- I would suggest Dreamworld and Wet'N'Wild( there are more though) and

you should definately go shopping somewhere(theres heaps of places that r good)

    Rainforests eg Daintree(North QLD)

Umm if ur into it go on a farm stay

And go partying in one of the capital cities!

    hope i helped ya!
