  1. No...but an old singer of mine got electrocuted really bad by a mic one time!  It was just at a practice and he went to go turn it on and grabbed the mic...well, it was like straight out of a movie!  He couldn't let go of the mic and he was shaking like he was having a seizure! LOL...his fingernails got a little blackened and he was a little shook up but he was fine!! Hilarious to watch!

  2. No but anythings possible.

  3. Gary Thain , the bass player for Uriah Heep in the 70s was electrocuted on stage, my husband was at the concert.  Scary. :-(

  4. I got a nice static jolt when I unplugged my amp once...

  5. Ace Frehley of KISS was electrocuted on stage in Florida during the 1970s.    It inspired his song "Shock Me", arguably the most popular song he ever wrote.

  6. No, I've never heard of that, but I don't see why it couldn't happen if you threw it in water or something. Maybe not with the guitar, but definitely the amp, since the amp is what gets plugged into the outlet.

  7. no...can that happen? that'd be embarrasing to a guitar player

  8. no... but i know someone who was bloodrocuted

    hahaha

    booooooo to my terrible joke

  9. Les Harvey from "Stone The Crows" in the '70s..his brother was Alex Harvey. Dead. Keith Richards was electrocuted in the mid-60s but survived due to his ripple-soled 'Hush-Puppies'..very lucky..that cat has 9 lives. Keith Relf, from The Yardbirds,Rennaisance and Armageddon, also died from a faulty circuit. Must be many more....Harder than it looks.

  10. Not personally, but that is how Keith Relf (lead singer of The Yardbirds) died. There's an urban legend that he played it in the bathtub, but really it simply was not grounded properly.

    RIP Keith...
