  1. When one learns of a new philosophy or belief which explains all the things that have happened in their lives, they may be blind to the circumstances which led to their problems to begin with, thus repeating them.

  2. wow that's deep.

i guess you could be blinded by the light of God. unfortunately most people only see his light as a very faint shimmer, like a star.

a person of great faith would tell you that they often feel like they're walking blind. because they see the light so strongly. but they're happy to be blinded by the light because God will guide them.

In my opinion, much better to be blinded by the light than be stuck in the dark. isn't that deep.

  3. Necessary, yes. But no tension. Blinding light is awe and ecstasy, a gateway to our true being , a being of joy, peace, amity and prosperity that is just a wee second ahead after the blind!

  4. I love those oldies Simon and Garfunkle songs.

Personally, I do not know anyone who has been blinded by the light, literally nor figuratively so sorry I am not any help at all.

It therefore is a paradox for lack of proof. Just a saying, a MYSTERY of sorts

The bible is full of those.  If you are a man of science you will want proof.

The truth can set you free.

Free to say "Bah humbug" or "oh god, its true"

  5. She was blinded by the light.

Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night.

Actually, being blinded by light is an actual phenomenon.

Most drivers have experienced it on a temporary basis driving at night, being blinded by the oncoming headlights.  We've all been warned not to look at an eclipse, as the sun's rays will damage the retina.

  6. ...the light comes in many forms ...i like to believe it was the truth...

...no tension at all...thanks for asking...
