  1. That does not justify the fact that the war in Iraq was unjustified, based on alie and has nothing to do with the war on terror.

    Korea was also a very necessary war.

  4. That's because today we fight wars in a way that puts fewer people in harms way.  That doesn't make Bush a better Commander in Cheif.

  5. DO you know FDR had more troops killed for Iwo Jima than Bush has in Iraq?   And that was an unnecessary battle.  We could have bypassed the island like we did so many others.  

  6. Truman had more troops killed in a single week in Korea than have died in the entire GWOT.

    That is basic history, but I'm not sure what conclusion you want to draw from it.  Perhaps that Truman should have spent more time listening to MacAurther...what is the point of your question?

  7. Your comparison is totally irrelevant.

    Korea was a total all out war when North Korea and later China invaded our ally South Korea.

    The "War on Terror" is largely a political and intelligence operation.
