Do you know that hurricanes only occur in the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific Ocean?

The process occurs in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, but they are called different things depending on which ocean they are in!

Yes. I knew that. Whether called hurricane, typhoon, or cyclone, they are all cyclonic tropical storms.

I just learned that in physical geography class! And yes you can say that certain storm systems will never occur in certain areas that don't have the necessary factors to create or sustain them. BTW I live Ohio too.

you can't say that any weather occurs when and where, I live in Ohio and if you don't like the weather hang around five minutes and it will change? No one can for sure tell you what may happen on any given day, they can only tell you what it looks like might happen? and the rest is up to Nature!
