Question:

Do you know the REAL ZODIAC dates? How will people respond to the facts?

The real dates of the zodiac are not the ones that we read in newspapers etc. Those dates are archaic and incorrect. I've added a link from a website at NASA. I can't think of a better source (in the USA). There are many websites that you can verify this on besides NASA....but why bother.

My question is: Over the years people have believed in horoscopes. The same people have studied the traits of each sign etc. Any book they may have on the subject will be worthless. Do you think they will deny the facts so as not to appear foolish?

THE REAL DATES OF THE ZODIAC:

(Note the 13th sign: Ophiuchus)

Sagittarius Dec 18 - Jan 18 / Capricornus Jan 19 - Feb 15 / Aquarius Feb 16 - Mar 11 / Pisces Mar 12 - Apr 18 / Aries Apr 19 - May 13 / Taurus May 14 - Jun 19 / Oct 31 - Nov 22 / Scorpius Nov 23 - Nov 29 / Ophiuchus Nov 30 - Dec 17

A website at NASA that will explain it all:

  1. You're the one who is misinformed.

    Ophiuchus isn't an astrological sign.

The sun barely, and i mean, barely touches this sign.

Its not considered a sign to keep the balance of 12. Note the 12 disciples of Jesus?

13 always causes chaos. Note Friday the 13th?

Plus, those dates are the dates that the sun passes through those signs.  But, from our perspective of earth (because we didn't have sophisticated technology when this study started) the dates used today are correct for this particular subject.

So, please, do some research before you waste someone else's time.

  3. I have to agree with Verbtex.

It sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

  4. WOW if thats true ,That sucks for me

  5. This is very interesting, especialy how their is a 13th zodiac sign. Im not sure what i think about it just yet, but certainly interesting. I don't agree that i am a gemini though, because apparently according to this i am, and im not a cancer. i feel like a cancer. i have thought about people i know and where they fall, this seems inaccurate.

Verbtex's answer seems more logical to me

  6. Since when is NASA an "Astrological" authority? Have they hired Robert Hand or something? Is he running the place now?? If I send NASA my birth data, can they interpret my birthchart??

Listen, if I have a problem with my foot, I'm not going to an optometrist, I'm going to a podiatrist. What you're suggesting here is roughly the same thing.

I will not deny that there may be a zodiac sign "ophiuchus" in the future, but for now, there is not. What would this sign's element be? Or it's polarity, or triplicity? What would the ruler of ophiuchus be? There's too much research to be done to include anything other than what we've got right now. So until Ophiuchus can be proven to have a valid astrological purpose, it's just a constellation. Like the big dipper. or casseopeia. Nothing more.
