Hiking here is NOT touristy. The people you meet on the trails are regular people going from village to fields etc. Nobody ever tells you "no trespassing" Don't hike near the coast--too hot! Around Cordoba is perfect at 3200 feet altitude. come stay with us at Las Magnolias B&B frankania at yahoo

Although this doesn't seem to be a question I wanted to agree with the poster about the area. I love the city of Cordoba  and  visit often.I have also stayed at the Las Magnolias Bed and Breakfast and would highly recommend it .Wonderful climate in and around Cordoba and a most convenient location to explore so many other places in Mexico during the day and then head back to the quiet and safety of the small city for a nice supper away from the crowds.
