Do you know the best way to stop Collingwood's Paul Medhurst?

Whack him behind the ear in the first few minutes & he is worried for the rest of the game.

I remember Glen Archer & Daniel Chick playing on him, when Medhurst was a Docker. He got no more than four possessions against each player; because he shies away from the physical stuff.

Who from the Eagles team would you play on him?

I'd play Beau Waters on him. Medhurst would be looking over his shoulder during the whole game.

Beau Waters for sure, Beau is great and i bet he can shut him down.

Why would darren glass play on medhurst?? Glassey is a full back who plays on power forwards. Medhurts is tiny, that is such a mismatch!

but i would agree, he doesnt seem like a very 'tough' footballer, prefers easy, sneeky goals. but beau waters will prob get the job.

Waters should get the job, he'll make him earn his kicks, and he wont allow Medhurst as much space as what other clubs have given him this season

I agree. The best way would be to put a close checking tough player on him.Waters or Sellwood.

He can't handle it & gives free kicks away for silly things. Even Micky Winehouse wouldn't be able to help him.

Glass played a good game on Goodwin last week so I would think that he might get the job on Medhurst.

The key to stopping any forward is limit supply to him from the midfield.

nah glass will have travis cloke or maybe rocka of lucky, they will play waters on him and if he gets out of hand, i would stick a free man in the gaps in front of him so he cant get a touch... like wirrpunda or someone who can also run of half back and make an impact on the game.. GO THE EAGLES... woosha is a champ and will figure somthing out
