Do you know the best way to travel from airport to seaport in Rome?

We are planning to fly into Ciampino Airport and later in the day get on a ship in Civitavecchia's seaport. During the day we have several hours to kill in Rome and hope to stash our luggage in an area of safe lockers in a central train station or somewhere else that would be likely. I was hoping to get an answer about the best possibilities out there for transportation and luggage stashing.

Any information?

You can take public transport (train) from Ciampino Airport to Roma Termini (Central Station), takes about 15 minutes,

lock your luggage there, and depart later by train to Civitavecchia.

The link does not show the trains to Civitavecchia, they take between 1 hour and 3 to 1 hour and 18 minutes (regular trains without supplement). Put in "Roma Termini" for departure and "Civitavecchia" for destination, and it will show you the departure/arival times.
