There are so many publishing houses in Chennai. Had you visited the Book Fair, which is annually held in Dec-Jan, you would have seen a number of publishing houses. The list above does not contain even a single popular company. Vanathi Pathipagam, Varthamanar Pathipagam etc are very popular in publishing very popular books, classics etc.

You could have given some details abt where u r. Chennai T Nagar has so many publishers like Kannadasan, Allied Publishers, Vaigai etc. at least 20 companaies. Each one is specialising in certain type of books also.
