It's racing in the Melbourne Cup over 2 miles in November and is 40/1 in early markets. Prize money is $5 million so you have to be one of the world's best to win. Could it give any 2 mile race in the world a shake?

RacingVic has been trying for an American runner for sometime and may get their wish this year with new owners placing the horse with Danny O'Brien with the express aim of running in the Melb Cup.

Popular opinion suggests the staying form of horses from the US should be treated with caution, add to that the possibility of the horse having previously raced on some medication which may not allowed in Australia.

Whilst there's little recent history to back it up, popular belief says the requirement to race with less drugs in the system is a challenge difficult to overcome.

Add to all this is the fact there will be little acclimatisation period for the horse, who has raced quite recently. He has racked up a number of easy wins recently though. They have, however, been in small fields. Just the won run beyond the 2400 too, albeit a winning one.

What is in his favour is his trainer Danny O'Brien . O'Brien picked up Honor In War,another US import last year. Whilst he's yet to achieve a win here from a handful of starts he has shown some promise.

Tacit Agreement currently around the $67 mark.
