Do you know the title of this Anime???

Question

My memory is a little fuzzy because it's been a while since I saw this Anime but I really want to see it again and can't remember the title. I have searched and searched and here I am with no title. What I remember.

There are 2 and only 2 HUGE Mechs. Each of them is populated by tons of people who (from what I can remember) have no idea that the city they live in is actually a Mech. Each of them has a council that knows the truth and they've been waiting for the chosen ones. On one mech it's a girl, the other a boy. There really is no other technology (Planes and such) that I remember. But the people do REALLY freak out when the "City' Mechs start moving and fighting each other.. Please HELP I really want to watch it again.

If it was a CG anime movie - its called "Ark".  

Next to Final Fantasy: Advent Children and Appleseed, Ark was an absolutely breath-taking movie about two cities that were actually two ridiculously large robots and a girl whose blood could power them.  I remember seeing this movie some months ago and my mouth is still open.  Amazing.

I think that's "Escaflowne". It's a good movie.
