  1. You forgot number 12!  You don't have a clue what you're talking about

I'm an Obama supporter but like him, I want to deal wiith facts not unsubstantiated BS like you are showing.  When people see one false hood, and you have many, it throws everything suspect.

  2. I'd start dishing Obama dirt but we don't have that many hours in the day

  3. I knew some of these, but this was very interesting. It's pathetic that she's pretending to be Hillary Clinton.

  4. 11 reasons i will vote for her, thanks. Why aren't all you dem's talking about obama's big pep-rally that you all cried over?

  5. Good. I know all of that, and I'm against all of it. And I'm voting for her anyway. Just because you value honest idiocy lower than a completely dishonest politician doesn't mean everyone does. Your priorities are just a little messed up.

  6. Sounds like you are repeating someone else's laundry list of fabrications. Look again, she TOOK ON big oil, not backed down to them. Try reading about the candidate and stop repeating stories with proof.

  7. Do I know the top 11 things I should about? Huh to the bix user

You can't stand palin But you like a man who was a heroine addict? lol. Look it up Bix was a heroine addict from Davenport Iowa.

  8. You can find 11 things out about Obama that would make him look the same way. So, what is your point? If you don't like her don't vote for her.

  9. 12) She's a member of the NRA

    13) She had contacts with the KKK.

  10. Yes, I do know...Allow me to expand on it for you, with some facts:

    1) She is presently under investigation in Alaska for abuse of power

Her ex brother-in-law (Wooten, a cop) tasered her 11 year-old nephew (his own son), beat her sister (his wife), and threatened to kill her father...He was also caught drinking alcohol while driving his cruiser (several times), which is not allowed and calls for him to be fired...The person responsible for firing him refused to do it, so she fired that person...That person wasn't happy about that, so he called for an investigation...So, she is being investigated by the ethics committee (that SHE formed, btw) and she will be found not guilty of any wrongdoing

Palin wasn't the only one who had made complaints about his actions, either

"The personnel investigation began in April 2005, long before Palin became governor and months before her October 2005 announcement that she was running. The investigation into Wooten wrapped up in March 2006, before she was elected.

Troopers found four instances in which Wooten violated policy, broke the law, or both"

Sometimes when you fight corruption, the corrupt get pissed off and try to fight back...In this case, they don't have a leg to stand on.

    2) She strongly supports big oil (her husband works for oil company BP)

Sorry, this one is a lie

Democrats keep saying that she's 'in bed with big oil companies' (she actually fights against big oil, but why let facts get in the way?) and 'her husband is an oil lobbyist/oil exec' or 'her family is in big oil'

BP is one of the 5 major employers in Alaska, it employs thousands of people who live there...Palin's husband USED to work for BP (in the off-season, when he's not fishing) as a lineman (supervisor) on an oil rig, a blue collar job like the majority of Americans have, I guess they think if you pump gas at a BP gas station, you're 'in big oil', too...Somehow, one of the Dems got it all screwed up, and the rest of them parrotted it, like they do...

For those who seem so interested in Palin's husband's career, he NOW works as a commercial fisherman, that's another blue collar job, btw...So, I guess you guys should start saying that he's a fish exec, or she's in bed with big fish, or her family is in big fish or something...You know, however you want to tell it

    And...She FIGHTS 'big oil'

"Palin has shown boldness in going after Big Oil, whose money has long dominated the state and helped fund its Republican machine. In a snub to the oil majors, she has proposed TransCanada Corp., a Calgary energy company, be given the primary contract to lead the $30 billion job to build a natural-gas pipeline from Alaska's North Slope.

"Palin has accomplished a feat which has eluded the U.S. Congress for many years. She has pushed through the Alaska legislature a natural gas pipeline project which will bring new supply and price relief to the lower 48:

On Aug. 1, the same day the call for a vote on drilling began on the House floor, the Alaska state Senate approved a package of measures to license a new natural gas pipeline. House Bill 3001 lets Palin award the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act license to TransCanada Alaska, a pipeline builder that cast a winning bid of five.

The legislature had been trying for 30 years to authorize something like this and, up until now, had blown it. Palin got it through. Getting it off the ground, the state says, will be the biggest construction project in U.S. history.

Palin considers the $26 billion project her biggest accomplishment as governor. "It was not easy," she told IBD. "Alaska has been hoping and dreaming for a natural gas pipeline for decades. What it took was getting off the dime and creating a competitive market in Alaska."

The 1,715-mile gas line would stretch from Alaska's North Slope to Fairbanks and down to Alberta, Canada. Then it would take existing gas lines to Idaho. In 10 years, Palin says, the lower 48 states would receive 4.5 million cubic feet of natural gas a day. By 2030, according to Energy Department estimates, Alaska's annual natgas production would quintuple to 2 trillion cubic feet.""

    3) She believes creationism should be taught in public schools

She doesn't want to have ONLY creationism taught, she always says "along with evolution"...We all know that we can't be sure how we got here, that's why evolution is a THEORY, as is 'big bang' AND creationism...Why not offer ALL theories?...Are you guys afraid that people will be permitted to make up their own minds about our existence???

We don't know for a FACT how we got here, just as we don't know for a FACT where we're going when we die...Would you want all people to be taught that we go to one specific place when we die, without considering ANY other alternatives?...Heaven, h**l, complete cessation of existence, reincarnation, we explore ALL possibilities...Why not explore possibilities of how we came to be?

BTW, for those who keep saying that she doesn't believe in evolution...That's FALSE...One of our alternative theories combines creationism WITH evolution, that theory says that people were created by a higher power, then evolution changed us over time...There's also the 'old earth' theory:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Earth_c...

It doesn't make sense to teach only ONE theory about ANY subject, when we can't possibly know the FACTS about it...There's absolutely nothing wrong with expanding your mind...How did liberals become so closed-minded and intolerant of other peoples' views and beliefs?

    4) She is opposed to abortion even in cases of rape and incest

She doesn't believe that an innocent, unborn baby should be killed for ANY reason, that's her opinion, she's entitled to it...One person (especially a Vice President) can't get abortion outlawed...Abortion will never be overturned, and everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion about it...Personally, I'm against it, too.

    5) She has no federal or international experience. Prior to being governor (for less than two years) she was only the mayor of a small Alaskan town and a beauty queen!

She dealt with the federal government to squash the bridge to nowhere project, and she also worked with the federal government with her pipeline project...As for international experience, Given the nature of the job, any Alaskan governor routinely deals with Canada and Russia over several issues, among them trade, oil, security, transportation, and fishing rights. That's already more foreign diplomatic experience than Senator Obama...About the 'beauty queen thing', she wanted a basketball scholarship to pay for college but it wasn't available to her, so she entered the beauty pageant because she WAS able to get a scholarship that way...She talks about that in this video:

    http://www.newsweek.com/id/156190

    6) She believes global warming is a farce and is opposed to listing the polar bear as an endangered species

She questioned the science behind predictions of sea ice loss linked to global warming and she said that she doesn't believe that global warming is MAN-Made, not that it doesn't exist...Many people share her belief about global warming, and again, she's entitled to her opinion...On the polar bears, she isn't an animal rights activist and they are NOT endangered.

    7) She stands for everything that Hillary Clinton stood against

That's true...Palin is a Conservative Republican and Hillary is a Liberal Democrat, their views are the exact opposite of each other, as would be expected.

    8) She supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and anywhere else big oil wants

Half true...She supports drilling where AMERICA wants, and where it's fiscally and feasibly responsible and appropriate, in order to benefit AMERICA, decrease dependence on foreign oil, and lower energy costs for US (that means lower gas prices for us)...Big oil has absolutely nothing to do with it.

    9) She supports Pebble Mine which will destroy the richest salmon run in the world

They are still looking for ways to divert runoff and protect the fish, but the threat is nowhere near as dire as you're trying to suggest...And those resources are extremely important to HUMANS (apparently humans mean more to her than fish), so the pros outweigh the cons.

    10) She supports aerial shooting of bears and wolves in Alaska

Wolves need culling when their population increases dramatically. It is all very well planned out in every State for every kind of animal, just like deer, bears, coyotes, buffalo etc. and it has been going on for Decades... even under Democratic Leadership.

When the wolf and bear population gets high, they begin to encroach upon homes and are a dangerous threat to families, especially children (these animals are predators, in case you were unaware)...Wolves and bears abound in Alaska

    11) She is pro-war

She hasn't made that statement...She said that she supports her country and our troops...That does NOT mean that she wants to start unnecessary wars, or whatever you may have been implying.

    Got anything else?

  11. 1 - Innocent people are put under investigation all of time.  Let us know if she's actually found guilty of something, okay?

2 - Oil's the fuel source that exists here and now.  Of course she supports it.  And her husband's just some oil field worker, it's not like he's an exec or something.

5 - Lie.  She's negotiated with both Canada and Russia over various issues.

6 - She opposes polar bears being listed as endangered because she doesn't believe they are.  But what does she know, eh, she's just got the Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game at her disposal.

    7 - That's nice.

8 - She supports drilling in a small area of ANWR, and area she says would be smaller than LAX.  "anywhere else big oil wants" is a lie.

9 - Your claim it "will destroy the richest salmon run in the world" has no basis in reality.

10 - The wolves aren't endangered,  and their population numbers need to be controlled to prevent a runaway population.

    11 - That's a shame, if it's true.

I don't know anything about 3 & 4, but considering how well you did on 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, I think it will be forgivable if those claims, as they're presented (ie; you're not "forgetting" any details), are treated with suspicion.

  12. oh, wait! there is more! she made her brother in law get fired, over a personal dispute between her sister, her sister's husband. She will be no good for our country. She is pro-life and TOO conservative, it will only create more drama if you ask me. She sounds like a b.i.t.

I hope there is still some smart people out there to not vote for McCain. Between Bush and McCain you can't tell those apart.

  13. That's why I'm voting for her.

  14. And she's supposedly this big reformer?? She sounds like the typical Republican. Hopefully women don't fall for this. It's obviously a pander pick to women.

  15. MY KINDA' WOMAN! Oh please. She's a hack, Obama is a hack, Biden is a SUPER HACK, and McCain is a hack. No person can be honest, tell the truth and get elected. You want to be lied to, admit it. I'm voting for Bob Barr. He may be a rat, but he's MY rat! Thank you for your unbiased assessment.

  16. Wow!  I've been wanting to find out more about Mrs. Palin and you have helped a lot.  Thanks.  She sounds wonderful.  I just wish you had posted some references so I could verify it all.

  17. >>1) she is presently under investigation in Alaska for abuse of power

    <<

If you watched her interview, she welcomes the investigation.  Shows me that she has nothing to hide.  Just because they are being investigated doesn't mean that they are guilty.

    >>2) She strongly supports big oil (her husband works for oil company BP)

    <<

Husband worked in the oil fields, and is currently on a leave of absents.

    >>3) She believes creationism should be taught in public schools

    <<

Along side evolution.  What is wrong with presenting both sides of the coin??

    >>4) She is opposed to abortion even in cases of rape and incest<<

She values life, and stands by her convictions.  She is an American citizen and has that right.  Many people happen to share her convictions, or at least close to it, and are happy to have a woman stand up for these values.

    >>5) She has no federal or international experience. Prior to being governor (for less than two years) she was only the mayor of a small Alaskan town and a beauty queen!<<

So you are upset because she is pretty?  How sad.  Obama has been useless because since he took office he has been spending all of his time running for President.  Don't see why we should have a problem with a VP with little experience when the alternative is a President with little experience.

    >>6) She believes global warming is a farce and is opposed to listing the polar bear as an endangered species<<

A lot of people don't believe that people are the major cause of Global warming...and polar bears are doing just fine.

    >>7) She stands for everything that Hillary Clinton stood against

    <<

    GOOD!!!

    >>8) She supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and anywhere else big oil wants<<

She wants to help the USA to become independent of foreign fuel.  Why is this a bad thing.  Do you enjoy paying $4 a gallon for gas when we have ALASKA up there sitting on a whole bunch of oil and natural gas that could drive down the price for us??

    >>9) She supports Pebble Mine which will destroy the richest salmon run in the world<<

She has already stated that they are looking into ways to develop the mine without destroying the fisheries.

    >>10) She supports aerial shooting of bears and wolves in Alaska

    <<

Are you just against hunting in general?  Hunting is used to keep down a population of some species of animal.  I don't like hunting personally, but I understand it...and from the looks of it...there are safeguards in place to ensure that no too many are killed.

    >>11) She is pro-war<<

Are you talking THIS war or war in general?  If you are talking about THIS war...then you know...there are a lot of us out there...I believe that you would be wrong to assume it to be war in general.

    M

  18. 1.  Those allegations are expected to be completely cleared within the next month.

    2.  What's the problem with big oil?  I don't know whether you liberals know it or not, but or "horrible" big oil companies keep taxes on it so low that we pay 1/3 of what Europe does.

    3.  Good for her - she wants both sides of the case to be represented.  Who ever said that a strong moral background was a bad thing?

    4.  I'm against puncturing the skulls of innocent newborns as well.

    5.  She actually has ore experience than Obama, a former glorified picnic-planner.

    6.  http://scottthong.wordpress.com/2007/10/...

    7.  Not everything, sweetie.  How do they both feel about gender discrimination, as an example?

    8.  I sure wouldn't mind lowering our already-low oil prices even further.

    9.  Destroy?  Nope.  Hamper?  Yes, a bit.  But the benefits to the economy outweigh the cons.

    10.  Yes, of which there are currently a surplus.  And not polar bears; brown bears, which are currently double their carrying capacity.

    11.  So is half of our country =]

  19. thanks for letting me know.....I was getting bored reading about her..

  20. "And, I could name 11 GOOD things, but why bother?"

No, you really  couldn't. GOOD things to you would be everything on this list, because you're a moron. :)

  21. 7) She stands for everything that Hillary Clinton stood against

    All I need to hear

    Go Palin

  22. let me add some stuff to 2 of your statements:

She strongly supports big oil (her husband works for oil company BP)

her husband works in the oil fields.

    3) She believes creationism should be taught in public schools

    along side with evolution.

  23. One thing you should know about Sarah Palin:

    1) She lives her political convictions.  Unlike Obama, and most famously -- the liberal demigod Al Gore.

  24. You forgot lack of  brains

  25. actually wasn't  she the runner up miss congeniality or something

  26. I love how biased people never take into consideration the whole of a story. put in what they can about something that makes it sound good enough to further their agenda and leave the rest out. I happen to support her on all of that stuff and the abuse of power thing is basically being done because a disgruntled government employee SAYS she abused power. She did offer him another job in the government that he refused. She also said creationism should be taught ALONG WITH evolution, not by itself.

  27. So far, I am unconvinced.

    1) Obama is under investigation for his close ties with a man that bombed the US capitol

    2) She's from ALASKA... and being close to someone who works for an oil company is not a crime

    3) I believe that creationism should not be taught as stupidity in public schools

    4) I am against abortion, too

    5) She has been a governor - a job you can't shy away from like you can when you are a senator like Obama

    6) She is entitled to her opinion.  She is a politician, not a scientist.

    7) And I suppose that Hillary Clinton is the model female in America?

    8) Until you come up with a better idea, so do I.

    9) Pebble Mine?

    10)  Sometimes you have to control the population of these animals.

    11)  No she isn't

  28. Well yes - but on the other hand she's kind of cute looking.

  29. So she is your anti-liberal.Wow amazing, imagine a republican would be conservative. The Alaska abuse of power case is ridiculous and will be dropped. Her Brother in law was fired for tazing a child.Global warming is a farce and Polar bear populations are up 67% since the 60s.

Can you put together a top 11 reasons not to vote for Obama?I could do a top 100 list on why he is bad for America.

  30. So basically she's an idiot?

Thanks, some of that stuff I didn't know.
